Is poor acoustics only a concern in open-plan layouts?

Difficulty in comprehending speech and a host of noise disturbances meant that customers of AppAgent had the impression their calls were answered in a bathroom rather than an office. This led the company management to introduce measures for improving the acoustic environment and to ensure that poor acoustics did not impact negatively on their business.

Paradoxically the largest office at AppAgent is just 54 m2.
